A tarp is a roof for your outdoor hammock. When bivouacking with a hammock, the tarp serves as rain or wind protection and keeps off falling leaves. We have a wide selection of tarps in different designs and sizes. Here you can see the most important features at a glance.
The differences between our two types of fabric
• Weight and volume
All AMAZONAS Ultra-Light tarps are made of 2 different types of fabric. They belong either to the ADVENTURE series (ultra-light and compact) or to the TRAVELLER series (slightly heavier and more robust).
The coating of the tarps also differs. For example, the water column of the TRAVELLER series is higher than that of the ADVENTURE series.
Here you will find an explanation of the various features of the fabrics and coatings used.
